UML Tour - Use Case Diagram


The Use Case diagram is the first step of many design processes as it lays out who uses the system and what tasks they perform. 

In Visual Case a use case diagram can have many actors associated with many use cases.  The standard extends, includes and generalizes links are included to connect use cases with each other. 

Each Use Case can have a number of extension points associated with it that specify where another use case extends the functionality.
